Stormälö cottage village is situated 40km south of Turku on the shore of the Archipelago Sea. The cottage village consists of 7 cottages that are rented through out the year. The cottages lie in a peaceful natural surrounding. Distance to the village´s own beach depending on the cottage is 5-150m. Quite a steep path to the beach. Good seaview from most cottages. Distance to Airisto tourist centre (Airisto Strand – open from May to September) 1km. 15 km to the centre of Parainen and to Turku ca. 40 km. 20km to Nagu (one ferry between). There is space for your car(s) outside the cottage and no ferries are needed to take to our island. The cottage village is a good starting point for experiencing the Archipelago of Turku. The cottages are popular among fishermen and -women in spring and autumn due to good fishing waters. Your own boats can be put in water from the ramp in the nearby marina and kept in the villages´ pier during your stay. If you don´t have a boat there is a row boat for every cottage and to it you can rent a motor. In summer there is only weekly renting (friday to friday) and mostly families and couples are spending their summer vacation in the cottages and it is really peaceful. The 7 cottages have quite a long beach for the cottage village´s residents only. The beach has 2 piers – the smaller for swimming and the big one for the boats. The sea bottom is in some places sandy and in some places muddy. On the beach there is also a grill with roof and benches and a table. A yard swing and swings for children and a slide.
